Joe (of course) thinks he was wrongly convicted, and a fair number of people agree with him. Donald Trump Jr. is one of them, who joked that he would bring the issue up with his father.
"One of the biggest rating hits of the coronavirus, aside from these briefings, has been a show on Netflix called Tiger King" a reporter brought up at a White House press conference. "The man who's the star of this is a former zoo owner who is serving a 22-year prison sentence. He's asking you for a pardon, saying he was unfairly convicted."
Trump joked along with the clearly light-hearted question, asking the reporter, "Do you think he did do it? Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon?" after he expressed that he wasn't familiar with the case.
People on Twitter are having mixed reactions to the question being asked, with some feeling it was inappropriate and others appreciating the levity. How do you feel? Let us know in the comments!
