It's official.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially stepped down from their roles as senior members of the royal family.

They even said goodbye to their royal Instagram account @SussexRoyal on March 30 with a final send-off.

They've also shut down the comments on all of their previous posts and made it impossible for users to write any new ones.

"We are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute," they wrote.

"While you may not see us here, the work continues."

"Thank you to this community - for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world."

"We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!"

Their plans of leaving the royal family in an official capacity first shocked the world back in January.

In an Instagram post shared on January 8, they wrote that their decision to "step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent" came after "many months of reflection and internal discussions."

A few weeks later, after much internal discussion, the Queen gave her grandson and Meghan her blessing.

For most, the drastic move appeared to be a long time coming, as Meghan has had to deal with negative press ever since she became Harry's girlfriend.

This past summer, especially, the British tabloids had it out for her.

Their departure also comes from them wanting their son Archie to have a normal life.

A source recently told People that the couple has moved to Los Angeles — Meghan's hometown.

Before that, they had stayed on Vancouver Island in Canada.

Now that the couple has left their royal duties, their former team revealed what it was like working for them.

For Meghan, this meant that her facialist and hairstylist came forward to give the scoop on the couple.

George Northwood, a London-based hairstylist, recently revealed that he was the hair genius behind some of her most iconic looks.

This includes her wedding reception updo and the gorgeous hair she had when she returned from maternity leave.

Northwood praised Meghan on Instagram, sharing six photos of Meghan's hairstyles that he did.

"It has been an enormous privilege and a lot of fun," Northwood wrote.

"I have enjoyed every minute collaborating with this amazing couple who not only champion small businesses but have taught me so much about diversity, equality and the importance of good mental health,"

"Here are a few of their many wonderful moments that I was honoured to be a part of."

He then wished them the best of luck on their new chapter.

"Harry, Meghan and Archie, wishing you much love and luck for your next exciting chapter! Can’t wait to see you one day soon - and so happy to now be able to share about our special time together."

Another member of Meghan's glam squad also came out to share her account.

“With Meghan, what began as a client relationship quickly turned into a dear friendship and she welcomed me into their lives,” wrote facialist Sarah Chapman on Instagram.

“I feel very grateful to be a small part of their journey observing the passion for everything they do and compassion for the causes and people they meet, but also to witness the moments other people don’t see.”

She also wrote that what you see is what you get with the couple.

“Who they are at home, as parents, as partners, and friends, the kind and very down to earth people they are when no one is watching,” Chapman continued.

How sweet!

“Every day we learn something new and I have been taught so much by them, and I always leave our time together feeling fulfilled and inspired to help people in any small ways I can.”

Take that, Meghan haters!

With the couple now reportedly living in Los Angeles, Meghan is back to her old stomping grounds.

This means that she can work with some of the talented people she worked with before becoming a royal.

This includes makeup artist Daniel Martin who has been with the actress since her Suits days.

He also did her gorgeous makeup for her royal wedding back in May 2018.

The makeup artist has worked with several other celebs, including Nina Dobrev, Elisabeth Moss, and Kaley Cuoco.

We'll have to wait and see who else becomes part of her new squad in L.A.!

She already reportedly has a post-royal job lined up with Disney, so the sky is the limit for this now-free couple!

With all these new opportunities, fans are excited to see what Meghan Markle does next.
