John Stamos Co-Stars Call Him Out For Taking The 'Full House' Couch

John Stamos has officially won the internet today, after being called out by his co-stars on Instagram for stealing the famous Full House couch and keeping it in his living room!

When we look back on Full House, it's nothing but good memories.

It was an instant classic.

After eight years together, the cast has become a lot more like family!

Take John Stamos and Jodie Sweetin, for example!

Not only were they close friends for the entirety of Full House, but they also remained friends long afterward, still, to this day.

Just last year John revealed that Jodie actually helped him through some dark times.

When John and Jodie first started working together on Full House, Jodie was just a young girl.

I'm sure he never imagined that one day he would be coming to her to help get his life back on track!

Last year, at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, John presented Jodie with the Writers in Treatment’s Experience, Strength and Hope Award, for her memoir “Unsweetined.”

As he presented the award to her, he got weepy— telling the story of how she helped him get sober.

He explained that about four years prior, he had hit "rock bottom." But thankfully, he was able to turn to Jodie, who was going on almost eight years of sobriety herself.

“It took me a long time, a long time disappointing everyone who cared about me, culminating in a terrible DUI where I could have killed somebody,” he said.

“I hit rock bottom. Jodie lovingly allowed me to walk my own path."

"When I finally humbled myself to ask for your help, I realized that the perky little blabbermouth had become the master of wisdom and was right by my side during some of the most difficult days of my life.” he continued.

Jodie organized a 12-step program for John, and acted as his sponsor. The pair had meetings at his house, and often on the set of Fuller House.

“Thank god, my wife and my new son will only know me as a sober husband and father," he went on. "This is Jodie’s legacy in my life."

Jodie returned the sentimate by saying how proud she is of John for how far he has come.

“John, I’m so proud of you and it’s been the greatest thing to watch someone that you love have the light come back on again,” she said.

Anyway, all that to say, there's no doubt that the cast of "Full House" is very close-knit, and their time on the show was monumental.

"Whether you are new to the Full/Fuller House universe or you’ve been with us since the beginning," he said in an Instagram post after Fuller House got canceled last November.

"I can’t thank you enough for keeping the franchise alive, the characters alive, but most importantly, the love alive between all of us that shines out to all of you".

After all of the Lori Loughlin fiasco, it came as no surprise that the show ended.

"Decency is at an all time low, and discord at an all time high—thank God for family television like Fuller House!"

So, understandably, considering it was the end of an era for him and the rest of the cast, John wanted to take a little (or big) souvenir...

And he went with the couch!

While he may have initially gotten away with sneakily take the couch home for himself, it looks like he just got busted by his castmates.

After posting this photo on Instagram:

"Baby safety gate or one of the most iconic couches in pop TV history? You, make the call," he captioned the post.

His co-stars did not hesitate to call him out.

It seemed to come as a shock to everybody that John is the one who ended up going home with one of the most iconic couches in TV history.

And I'm sure if aunt Becky were around, John would be getting an earful from her as well.

Do you think uncle Jesse should be the rightful owner of the famous Full House sofa?
