Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Are Waiving April's Rent For All Their Tenants During Coronavirus Crisis

While some people are lucky enough to be able to work from home during this pandemic, there are many, many people out there who find themselves suddenly without a source of income.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Families and people all over the world are struggling with the need to stay at home.

For many, staying at home means no more income or a dramatically cut income, which means that making rent for the next few months might be difficult or even impossible.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, one of our favorite celebrity couples, are definitely taking all of this seriously.

Kristen shared that Dax is currently self-isolating away from the rest of the family on Instagram, writing, "@daxshepard Got back from travelling on Monday. To be cautious, I asked him to stay at a friend's empty apartment for a bit to make sure he had no symptoms," which was definitely the smart move.

"Today we were missing him so much, we did the only logical thing we knew how to do."

"Danced outside his window to a @bensplatt and @dearevanhansen serenade," she shared alongside a video of her and her kids dancing up a storm on the street in front of the apartment building.

Of course, it's not all doom and gloom — their daughter brought a little spark of hope to social media as well.

"Well folks, shes [sic] done it. Dont [sic] get me wrong, she has more trials to do to assure its efficacy- but my 5 yr old just came into my bedroom with a vial full of colored water and told me 'i just made the vaccine for coronavirus!'" Kristen shared alongside this adorable shot.

On top of raising a future scientist, Kristen and Dax also own Pringus Property LLC, a company that owns at least 2 residential buildings.

TMZ reports that an email was sent out from a manager of Pringus that informed tenants that April's rent would be entirely waived due to the massive loss of income facing many people.

The email reportedly expressed empathy and encouragement for all the tenants.

The company "promised to work with residents going forward as best as possible as everyone learns to adjust to the public health crisis."

Fans rushed to social media to express their gratefulness.

As one fan pointed out, this is an example that all landlords should follow if possible. With so many families struggling, it must be a huge relief to not have to worry about losing your home.

Fans were happy to receive some good news for once.

With all the negativity and fear floating around in these trying times, it's awesome just to read a positive headline about someone doing something good for a change!

What an awesome gesture from the couple!

More people should definitely be following this example!
