Meghan Markle's Brother Slams Her, Says She Should 'Get Off Her High Horse' And Talk To Their Father

What better way to kick off the week than with some Markle family drama?!

Meghan Markle's brother, Tom Jr., recently spoke to the press, saying that Meghan needs to "Get off her high horse," and hash things out with their father.

So, just to recap: Meghan Markle and her father, Thomas, are not on great terms rn.

Back in October, he released a private, handwritten letter to the media, that Meghan had sent to him, in an attempt to set the record straight after admitting he felt "misrepresented" to the public.

Meghan actually ended up taking legal action against the publication that published the letter she wrote to her estranged father.

“Unfortunately, my wife has become one of the latest victims of a British tabloid press that wages campaigns against individuals with no thought to the consequences," Prince Harry said in a statement at the time.

"The contents of a private letter were published unlawfully in an intentionally destructive manner to manipulate you, the reader, and further the divisive agenda of the media group in question."

"In addition to their unlawful publication of this private document, they purposely misled you by strategically omitting select paragraphs, specific sentences, and even singular words to mask the lies they had perpetuated for over a year," he said.

After Harry came forward, Meghan's father released a statement of his own — explaining why he released the letter to the media in the first place.

He originally received the letter in 2018 and intended to keep it to himself. But according to Thomas, if not for Meghan's long-time friend revealing its existence to People in February.

"After the wedding she wrote him a letter. She’s like, 'Dad. I’m so heartbroken. I love you, I have one father. Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can repair our relationship,'" Meghan's friend revealed to People.

"I decided to release parts of the letter because of the article from Meghan’s friends in People magazine. I have to defend myself," Thomas revealed.

"I only released parts of the letter because other parts were so painful. The letter didn’t seem loving to me. I found it hurtful," he went on.

"The letter was presented in a way that vilified me and wasn’t true. It was presented as her reaching out and writing a loving letter in the hope of healing the rift, but the letter isn’t like that at all."

"I have the right to defend myself," he added. "There was no loving message in there, nothing asking about my health, nothing from her saying, 'Let’s get together and heal our differences.'"

"When I opened the letter I was hoping it was the olive branch I’d longed for. I was expecting something that would be a pathway to reconciliation. Instead it was deeply hurtful. I was so devastated I couldn’t show it to anyone."

"And never would have, had it not been for the People magazine piece which meant I had to release portions to defend myself," he added.

"I don’t recognize the person who wrote the letter but I still love my daughter. All it would take is one phone call and most of this craziness would stop."

Anyways, as far as we know, since then, Meghan and her father have remained not in contact.

And while Meghan and Harry have been doing their best to escape the press once and for all, Meghan's family can't seem to get enough of it...

Her brother, Tom Jr., recently spoke to Express to publicly insult her and simultaneously ask her for a favor.

"Meghan should actually just seriously get off her high horse, call her father, make amends," he said.

"The guy dedicated his whole entire life to her—where she is at today is because of him."

"That is the only reason, and I mean enough is enough."

He also explained that, as Thomas is in poor health, it is his "dying wish" to make amends and see his grandson, Archie.

"If it is the last thing that she does she needs to call her father," Tom Jr. said.

"Seriously, he has only got a few good years left..."

"He is so frustrated because he can’t get a message to her," he added.

Just a thought: If you're trying to make amends and glue the family back together, reaching out to the British press is probably not the best strategy to go with.

I mean, Meghan and Harry literally quit the royal family just to get away from it. Dragging them back into it doesn't seem like the way back into Meghan's heart.
