The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has had a contentious relationship with her father in the public eye since getting engaged to and later marrying Prince Harry of England.

Most recently, Thomas Markle published a private letter Meghan sent to him in August 2018.

In the letter, Meghan states that her father has "broken her heart into a million pieces" and begs him to stop speaking to the press about her and her relationship.
Thomas Markle has not seemed to have listened to her request.
Thomas recently gave another interview to Good Morning Britain where he made disparaging claims against the Duke and Duchess, stating that their decision to step back from royal duties is "embarrassing."
Markle also suggested that unless he heard from Meghan, he would continue giving monthly interviews.
“I pretty much will give an interview and wait for 30 days for some kinda answer back."

"If I don’t get one back, then I’ll try another interview. That’s about the only shot I have," he said.
"After this interview, if I don’t hear from someone in 30 days, then I will try again."

I can't speak for Meghan, but this doesn't seem like a very likely way of getting your daughter back in touch with you.
