'Jeopardy!' Being Filmed Without Audience To Protect Alex Trebek From Coronavirus

It seems people are really starting to take this coronavirus thing seriously. Not that we shouldn't, it is a pretty big epidemic considering people all over the world have it.

Now, it's starting to have an effect on tv shows! But this is a pretty special case.

As the virus sweeps the world, people are starting to get more and more nervous about this whole thing.

People are going to town on their hands, and some events have been canceled in the interest of keeping people inside.

And then there's "Jeopardy!"

A lot has been happening behind the scenes of that show. Mostly, Alex Trebek has been battling cancer, bravely and hard.

So in order to keep a sick man from getting worse, they're going to take the live studio audience out of "Jeopardy!"

That's right! For the time being, no more people on the set of Jeopardy! (except the contestants)

It's not just Jeopardy! taking precautions, Wheel Of Fortune is going to ditch the studio audience as well.

It's not just game shows either...

Musicians like Madonna, BTS, and Mariah Carey have all canceled shows, even big events like South by Southwest have been canceled.

Hopefully, this epidemic calms down sooner rather than later.
