Sometimes, as humans, we forget things that weren't all that important. It's part of our nature.
One of those things is when a celeb couple either breaks up or gets back together.
These are the celebrity couples that didn't last long, weren't that memorable, or were replaced by someone even more special.
Relationship Lifespan: 2003-2004
Oh yes! If you can believe it, the two of them were actually dating and even engaged to be married for only one year! What a weird couple.
Relationship Lifespan: The Mid '80s
Oh yes, believe it, my dear readers. These two actually dated in the mid-'80s! Cruise was 23 at the time and Cher was 38, and the two connected over something a little unexpected.
They started dating in 1985 but soon ended things. Apparently, the two of them are still friends, although she does have one criticism for the megastar:
"Though I don’t get what he does, that whole Scientology thing. I can’t understand it so I just… don’t.”
Relationship Lifespan: 2007
Before he became one half of the ultimate relationship, he was dating Kate Hudson.
He recently had her on his podcast, where he talked to her (and her brother too, weird) about their romance.
In Shepard's own words:
"[The relationship was] first of all: very, very fun. [A] very memorable, very wonderful, fun experience,”
She added that the whole thing, while it may have started as a joke, was a blast.
Relationship Lifespan: 1984 - 1991
Oh yes. These two have been superstars throughout their respective careers, and there was a pretty long time when the two of them were together.

Ah, the mid-2000s. What a familiar, yet strange time.
We had younger versions of the stars we know and love today. And apparently, two of the biggest ones dated.
Relationship Lifespan: Early '90s
Wow! We didn't know that Prince deemed anyone worthy of dating him. And yet, he did. Carmen Electra, to be exact.
He must have been a fan of those workout tapes.
"I told him I wanted to live in LA and he spent as much time here as he did in Minnesota. He wanted me to move back to Minnesota and I said no."
"I gave up everything with him to live here and make my own career. It was a hard time. I ended up calling him and he hired me to dance at his club in LA. I made $90 a week. I wasn't his girlfriend anymore, but I was one of his girls. This was after we split."
Relationship Lifespan: 1999—2001
They began dating in 1999 after Jennifer Lopez divorced her first husband, and we loved the couple.
They were brash, they were in your face and they weren't afraid to take fashion risks.
That's when things started to get rocky and eventually, the two of them broke up.

A cute relationship for sure, but not one that lasted long at all. The two only dated for a year.
It was like a star: burned bright and died fast.

Wow! For 8 years these two were together, and it almost completely slipped our minds.
Plus, she's with Ashton Kutcher now and they were meant to be. Have you not seen That's '70s Show?
Relationship Lifespan: 2002-2004
The two of them met on what is called one of the worst movies of all time, Gigli.
And yet, their relationship blossomed out of those ashes.
That was alright though!
They both went on to find better relationships, and had children with other people.
