Tim Allen Wants To Do A 'Home Improvement' Movie: 'It's A Marvelous Idea'

Ever since the beloved family comedy Home Improvement went off air in 1999, fans have been waiting for a reunion.

Well guys, good news! Tim Allen sat down with TV Line about reviving his iconic character Tim "The Toolman" Taylor.

"I always think about it, because I still talk to everybody involved," he said.

However, Tim questioned how relevant his character would be in 2020.

"The question I had was, 'Is it still relevant? Is Tim Taylor relevant in the Mike Baxter world?' Because Mike Baxter [Allen's character in his current sitcom Last Man Standing] is like a real version of Tim Taylor; he's not such a joke."

As far as a reunion goes, Tim confirmed it would be just a "one-off" movie for the fans, not a full reboot of the series.

"I like the idea of doing it as a one-off, like a one-hour movie. I like the idea of finding out where the boys are now, and where... Tool Time would be in today's world. I just think it's a marvelous idea, and all the actors think it's a great idea."

While nothing has been confirmed yet, it's great to know a reunion is something the cast has spoken about!

IT'S TOOL REUNION TIME!
