Fans Remember Kurt Cobain On What Would Have Been His 53rd Birthday

Nirvana frontman and music legend Kurt Cobain tragically died in April of 1994, almost 26 years ago. The icon was, and still is, beloved by fans for his music and for his messages of love and tolerance.

Kurt was born on February 20th, 1967.

That would make this year his 53rd birthday, and fans took to social media to share their feelings on Kurt, Nirvana, and the impact both had on their lives.

Some were sharing quotes of his that they found impactful.

Including ones where he declared himself a feminist and an ally to LGBT+ and minority communities, which were considered especially progressive stances twenty years ago.

Kurt's impact on the world is undeniable.

Fans shared how much they missed Kurt.
