Jane Fonda is exactly who I want to be when I get older. Not only is she hilarious, beautiful, and incredibly cool, but she’s not afraid to get real about her life, her passions, and getting older.

She also revealed that she’s decided she’s not buying any more clothes, and her dress proved that — she had worn the exact gorgeous red gown that she had worn to the Cannes Film Festival six years ago!

It looks like Jane is passionate about being as natural as possible, since she’s just announced that she’s done getting plastic surgery.

“I can’t pretend that I’m not vain, but there isn’t going to be any more plastic surgery — I’m not going to cut myself up anymore,” she said in a new interview with Elle Canada.

“I have to work every day to be self-accepting; it doesn’t come easy to me.”

“I post pictures of me looking haggard — and once with my tooth out! This is a fake tooth,” Jane revealed, pointing to the tooth in question. “It came out in a restaurant in Portugal, and I posted it.”

Jane has been open in the past about her plastic surgeries.

In her 2018 HBO documentary, Jane had stated, “I’m glad I look good for my age, but I’ve had plastic surgery. I’m not going to lie about that.”

“I wish I was braver, but I am what I am.”

“On one level, I hate the fact that I’ve had the need to alter myself physically to feel that I’m OK,” she continued. “I wish I wasn’t like that. I love older faces. I love lived-in faces. I loved Vanessa Redgrave’s face.”

Well, Jane, we love your face, and we love that you're being so transparent about your life!
