The Longer We Stare At Charlize Theron's Oscar Selfie, The Better It Gets

While she didn't nab any awards at the 2020 Oscars, Bombshell actress, Charlize Theron, did take home the award for best selfie!

Even though she didn't win any awards, Charlize Theron was living her BEST life at the 2020 Oscars.

For starters, the Bombshell actress, who had been nominated for Best Actress, brought her mom to the star-studded evening!

“I win the award for best date, for sure,” the 44-year-old star told "E! News" about bringing her mom, Gerta.

She wasn't the only celeb to do so.

Many A-listers treated their moms to a night out, including Lauren Dern, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Keanu Reeves also adorably brought his mother, Patricia Taylor, to the event.

When Charlize wasn't hyping up having her mom as her date, she was hyping up the Korean film "Parasite"!

She was one of the few celebs who rallied to have the Oscars turn the lights back on after they dimmed them during Parasite's acceptance speech for Best Picture.

“Up! Up! Up!” she chanted, along with Tom Hanks and her mom.

This allowed Parasite executive producer Miky Lee the chance to say a few words.

Another amazing moment from this year's Oscars was when Theron had an award dedicated his award to her.

Artists Kazu Hiro, Anne Morgan, and Vivian Baker won the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling in Bombshell.

During their acceptance speech, they thanked the South African actress.

“[We] give our heartfelt thanks to Charlize Theron. You’re an amazing actor and producer, and your compassion and love made this film possible,” Hiro said, causing Theron, who was teary-eyed, to drop her head into her hands.

“Because of your bravery and passion we were able to set a new bar in the makeup industry and create a new way to tell stories.”

Hiro means a lot to Theron. He even came out of retirement to work on Bombshell.

And now, we bring you what is truly the best moment of the 2020 Oscars:

Talk about a star-studded selfie!

As you can see, there's Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Salma Hayek, Regina King, and Rami Malek.

And if you look to your far left, you can spot actor Keanu Reeves.

This is the very definition of a selfie that gets better the more you stare at it.

Charlize's selfie rivals the one Ellen DeGeneres took at the 2014 Oscars.

The selfie, which she took while hosting the awards show, featured Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and Lupita Nyong'o.

While Theron's selfie hasn't become the most liked or retweeted photo like Ellen's did, it did draw lots of reactions online.

"Nice squad," wrote chef Andrew Zimmerm.

Some poked fun at the two ladies in the back who appear to be giving quite the stink-eye.

They're just mad that they weren't asked to be in the photo!

But, of course, a lot of attention was on Keanu, because, Keanu.

One person thought that Keanu was contemplating life.

"Keanu looks like he is about to punch himself in the face," they wrote, their comment garnering 53 likes.

The star-studded selfie wasn't the only one Charlize took.

She also snapped this adorable one with her mom.

She's always been so close to her mom, since she helps her co-parent her two adopted children, Jackson and August.

So with her mom as her date and an epic selfie to boot, I think we all know who won the Oscars that night.

Go, Charlize! You bombshell, you.
