Justin Bieber is getting more candid than ever before.

In the latest episode of his doc-series, Seasons, the singer went into depth on the dark period in his life, including how he turned to God to help him with drug addiction.

Some shocking relevations are coming to light with Justin Bieber's YouTube doc-series "Seasons."

In a recent episode, Hailey Bieber, Justin's wife, admitted that their road to the altar was different than most.

"We wanted to move in together, and we didn't believe in doing that until we were married, so we got legally married," Hailey said in a clip.

"Moving in together and living together, and getting to share space with each other and just keep learning more about each other, just took away all the pressure of the scary part of getting married."

The pair eventually had a formal wedding, which took place on September 30, 2019, in South Carolina.

It was an intimate event since Hailey and Justin wanted to keep the wedding small — a hard feat for mega-celebrities like them.

In the video, they said that they limited the guestlist to people "who had been very super involved in the journey" and "are still part of our day-to-day lives right now."

As for Justin's part in the wedding planning, he admitted that he just "basically showed up."

With such light material during those first few episodes of "Seasons," fans were in for a surprise with Justin's latest video.

In the episode, titled “The Dark Season," he revealed that he turned to God to help him with drug addiction.

The video started with Justin admitting that he first smoked marijuana when he was only 13.

Hailey then shed some light on the "crippling anxiety" Justin was dealing with at the time.

"I think when you take someone very, very young and they start to get horrible, crazy, crippling anxiety and it goes undiagnosed, you don't know what it is that you're feeling, you start to self-medicate because it makes you feel better."

Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, labeled Justin's years from 18 to 21 as the "dark period."

During this time, the young singer made headlines for several things, such as getting arrested for drag racing, peeing in a bucket, and even an alleged DUI.

"I started valuing the wrong things in this business because there were things dangling in front of me," Bieber said.

"'If I get this, I'll be happy, if I do this, I'll be happy,'" he shared.

He went on to say that never having a secure family or household growing up affected him and the decisions he was making.

Justin said he decided to stop drugs when something "crazy scary" happened.

“I decided to stop [drugs] because I felt like I was dying, my security were coming into the room at night to check my pulse. People don’t know how serious it got; it was legit crazy scary."

“I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day.”

He then admitted that it was God who helped him through that dark period of his life.

“I basically said to myself, ‘God, if you’re real, you get me through this season of stopping these pills and stuff and if you do, I’ll do the rest of the work.’"

“I did that and then I was good from there, but I never did the actual work. I got off the pills, but I never went to the root of everything. So then I just kind of circle back around, which most people do.”

To help with his mental health, he began taking anti-depressants, which he said helps him "get out of bed in the morning."

When Justin talked about his mental and physical health problems later on in the video, including his battle with Lyme Disease, he got candid about the damage that the drugs and alcohol have done.

“I’ve abused my body in the past and now I’m just in the recovery process trying to make sure I’m taking care of my body and taking care of the vessel that God’s given me…"

"There’s so many people that have gifts, and an opportunity to make a change, and they end up either losing it or using their gifts for selfish reasons.”

"Honestly, I'm comitted to getting better and committed to doing whatever I have to do, whether it's inconvenient or not, because I know ultimately for me it's not only for me, but being the best me is going to help me be the best husband, the best father, the best friend I can possibly be."

"And for all the fans that want to enjoy the music that I make and stuff, I can't do it if I'm not healthy and I haven't been healthy for a long time."
