Eva Mendes Claps Back At Troll Who Says 'She's Getting Old'

Age is just a number for Eva Mendes.

The actress, mom, and partner to Ryan Gosling recently went head-to-head with a troll who tried to criticize her age.

Let's just say that Mendes came out on top.

Eva Mendes is one of Hollywood's most well-known women.

She has been considered one of the most beautiful women for decades now, and has been in enough films to secure her place in Hollywood.

She's also a businesswoman! She has her own line of dinnerware and a fashion line!

Eva Mendes is also one half of one of Hollywood's hottest couples!

She's with heartthrob Ryan Gosling.

Eva had once called Ryan "your dream costar," adding, "I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film. He’s amazing."

They have two children together, and it takes a lot to parent them!

"Every day is such a learning experience — they challenge you in so many ways. Like, I'm their mom. I have to rise up, and hopefully, most of the time I do, but sometimes it's definitely maddening," she said.

"Not only are we in the industry, but the whole fame component is super scary when you try to raise your kids."

"What I try to emphasize is that I don't let them see me put attention to how I dress. They've never seen me get ready for something; they've never seen me at work. Which is fine, for whoever wants to do it that way, but the way I keep it normal is by not letting them see me in these situations. I'm just Mom. And I'm more than happy to just be Mom."

But she's way more than just Ryan Gosling's girl.

She's a successful actress, a mother, and just one of the classiest people in Hollywood.

Speaking of class...

When it comes to shutting down trolls, Eva Mendes keeps it classy.

The mom of two first proved this last month when a troll criticized the dress she was wearing in a video on Instagram.

“I think I resemble a horse at times,” she captioned the video. “It’s not a bad thing. It just is. If I was an animal I’d clearly be a horse. Or a Shetland pony."

She then gushed about the dress she was wearing:

"Anyway here I am horsing around in my new favorite dress. The Natalya dress. I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! Thank you @alejandroblanco for creating this with me! Love love love this!”

Soon, a critic slammed her outfit choice.

"Dont like these designs you need a better Designer you to [sic] pretty for these ugly patterns," they wrote.

The "Hitch" star saw the comment and, instead of firing back, delivered a classy response:

“I’m so sorry you don’t like this one,” she began.

“It happens to be my favorite piece of my new collection."

The dress is part of the New York & Company clothing line that she's been working on the past six years.

In her response, Mendes also gave a shout-out to the fashion lines owned by celeb pals, Kate Hudson and Gabrielle Union.

"But I’m sure there’s other stuff you may like. If not @katehudson and @gabunion design some great things. So there may be something for you there. Sending love for 2020."

Now, a month later, the star is stuck dealing with the trolls again.

This time, it all started after Eva debuted her new haircut to Instagram in a video.

In the caption of her post, she also thanked her followers for all of their support over the years.

"Sending you all some extra love right now and always. Thank you for always sending me so much positivity and love through your comments," she said.

"I read most of them when I can and it makes me so happy that there’s so much love around," she continued. "I send it all right back. Ten fold."

Unfortunately, there was one person who wasn't feeling the love, as they decided to comment, “she’s getting old."

The Instagram account @commentsbycelebs captured the mean comment, as well as Eva's response to it.

“Yes your [sic] right. Thank God I’m getting old," the actress, who turns 46 next month, began.

"That means I’m still here. I’m gonna be 46 soon and grateful everyday [sic] that I’m aging. Was your comment suppose to make me feel bad? It didn’t.”

“It makes me feel grateful,” the actress continued.

“So thank you for the reminder that I’m still here," she shared, along with three heart emojis.

Eva's classy response struck a cord with fans, as they soon showed their support.

"Maybe girlfriend meant to type looking gorg or hot. I guarantee she mistyped cause ain’t nothing looking old! 💕Not that it matters but it breaks my heart that someone would send such negative thoughts to anyone. Looking sweet and kind as well," wrote another.

Eva's thoughts on aging are even inspiring women to embrace their number a little better:

"Grateful to be alive and also for wisdom, confidence and perspective that comes with age BYEEEE," added another.

Most fans are having a hard time believing that Eva is turning 46 next month.

After watching last night's Super Bowl Halftime Show with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, it should be known that Latinas have some good genes.

Celebs were also in support of Eva's clap back to the troll:

"SHE KEEPS GETTING YOUNGER IN MY OPINION," wrote former Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristrowe.

Even if Eva didn't clap back, she'd still be winning.

I mean, she's with Ryan Gosling, who she shares two kids with...

I think we all know who's really winning here.
