Pamela Anderson And Her Husband Split After Only 12 Days Of Marriage

Actress, model, and activist Pamela Anderson surprised fans around the world when late in January she announced that she had married producer Jon Peters in secret. Pamela and Jon had dated 30 years ago, but their reunion came as a surprise to many.

Their marriage announcement was made through a series of poems that Pamela shared to her Twitter.

In the poem, Pamela detailed how her and Jon had met at the Playboy Mansion when she had first arrived to Hollywood. She noted that she wasn't even sure what a producer's job was.

Pamela then shared a photograph of the two together in 1989.

She captioned this shot with "Pamela Peters," implying that the two had gotten married and that she had taken his last name.

In another poem, she explains that Jon had proposed to her again.

After acknowledging the 22 year age gap between them (Jon is 74 and Pamela is 52), Pam referred to their relationship as "A great Hollywood Romance."

However, in a new statement released just 12 days after they wed, Pamela has revealed that her and Jon were "re-evaluating."

In a statement to ET, Pamela said, "I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union. We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another."

"Life is a journey and love is a process," Pamela shared.

"With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
