We can all agree that Cardi B is a legend of attitude and style, right? Right? Good.
I mean, until she and Beyoncé finally have that showdown for who gets the title of Queen B once and for all, she’s at least a badass baroness.

1. It’s not like there’s a whole internet out there trying to take shots at her, right?
I mean, what — was this the first time anybody saw big ol’ glasses on a celebrity? Smh.
But when you’re Cardi B, all you have to do is own it.
And let’s be real — Edna was one of the best characters in The Incredibles , soooo what?
But you know that Cardi’s at her best when she’s in a real beef with someone.
That’s when the tea is spilled, wiped up, and spilled all over again.
2. It doesn’t even have to START as a feud. Take Cardi and Nicki Minaj.
And if you know even a little bit about these two and their beef, you know this goes down .
3. This beef got started when Cardi came on to do a verse on “Motorsport” — the track’s a banger, but still.
But after, Cardi apparently hinted that Nicki came back to re-record her verse after she heard what Cardi put down.
So Nicki fired back, because of course she did.
“The first interview [Cardi] did after ‘MotorSport’ came out, it just really hurt me ’cause she looked so aggravated and angry. I kind of felt ambushed. That really, really hurt me because I really fully supported [Cardi],” was what she said according to US Magazine ‘s report of her Beats 1 interview.
Nicki is another no-nonsense music legend, so obviously something between the two of them was always gonna get real.
And if you’re as addicted to drama as the internet is…get good .
4. Even when there’s no specific person to flip on, Cardi is all challenge.
And why shouldn’t she be? The success doesn’t lie, y’all.
Hey, just because you’re on top doesn’t mean you don’t catch smack from below.
And Cardi always knows how to handle it in the most…Cardi way possible.
Cardi B definitely had to either grow a thick skin or get real good at clapbacks.
Because you know that you don’t grow up with the name Belcalis Almanzar without at least one bully making fun of it.
I mean, she’s still getting those comments now.
The difference is, now she’s got the fame and fortune, and most of the people trying to roast her on Twitter…don’t.
5. But Cardi doesn’t have to worry about anybody forgetting her name, and she’s proud of it.

6. I guess that sometimes it’s hard to sound like you’re NOT talking smack.
Like, when you reply to someone whose Twitter name already sounds like a third grade diss.
It’s not like Cardi goes looking for trouble…OK, maybe she does.
But it’s one thing to go looking for trouble when you can’t handle it. It’s another thing when you can clap back at anybody on the planet with style .
7. Just in case you were wondering, I think she’s laughing about this.
I only figured it out because I’m an expert at reading emojis…reading 15 emojis in a row, anyway.
I get the feeling that Cardi is just WAITING for someone to come at her, at all times.
Is she one of those people who only need food, water, shelter, and drama? I dunno, but she’s always ready.
8. Things came to a head at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons event, between Nicki and Cardi.
I say “came to a head” because, well, look at the bump on Cardi’s head! She was throwing shoes and shade and anything else she could get her hands on.
All this because Nicki allegedly liked (and then unliked) a few tweets throwing shade at Cardi for celebrating when it was reported that Kodak Black was being released from prison.
One of the charges Kodak was convicted for was child neglect, and the tweets were calling out Cardi as a mom.
Which obviously she was not having.
Like, shoe-throwingly not having.
9. You know it’s real when it’s a text post on Instagram just after midnight on a Saturday.
Like, if someone is my friend, I’m telling them not to post anything and get some sleep before they go raw like that.
But since it’s just a celebrity feud…oh sweet, my tea’s still hot!
10. Even when she announced she was going to be a mother, the internet was feasting on drama.
Like, it’s a good thing that I’m not planning my life around what Twitter thinks, y’all.
11. Aaaaand neither does Cardi.
Instead, she clapped so hard it created a sonic boom throughout the Twitterverse. Cardi tells Twitter what’s up, not the other way around.
Honestly, I feel like anyone who messes with Cardi B is doing so at their own risk.
If you think she can’t run you like she runs her business, you are wroooong.
But hey, don’t listen to me. By all means, let’s see more drama in the future.
After all, how’s Cardi gonna keep those clapback muscles flexed if no one comes after her?
