Halloween is approaching, which means the leaves are turning, the weather is straight chilling, and Scorpios everywhere are gearing up to be at their most chaotic.
With the rise of pumpkin spice lattes and boots comes the realization that you are probably already behind in your costume planning — some people started in July.

Khloé and Tristan slayed Halloween 2017 as Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo from HBO’s Game of Thrones . The couple went as GoT’s on-screen couple — and the fun part? Khloe was pregnant at the time, which Dany also was after marrying Drogo. They were giving us hints before we even knew!
2. Lady Gaga
This is a work of art. Gaga went as Edward Scissorhands for Halloween 2017, complete with facial scars, scissors, a perfectly teased wig, and a bunch of leather straps.
3. Rihanna
Um, those sandals, tho! RiRi pulled this one out for Halloween of 2014, and honestly, I’m shook. I love that she took the Ninja Turtle look to a slightly grungey, more RiRi place. God bless the queen.
4. Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, and their son
Ummm, my heart is melting. The Timberlake-Biel household went with a full Toy Story theme, including dressing their son Silas up as a tiny Woody. This is a wholesome display of true dedication considering Buzz’s costume and Jessie’s braid can’t be comfortable to wear for long.
5. Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum
The cool AF since-separated couple stayed fully on theme by dressing up as Sally and Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas . The two donned the costumes because their daughter asked them to, which is just…too precious for words.
6. LeBron James
Hey, this is terrifying! LeBron James is completely unrecognizable as Pennywise from IT , aka the clown that will haunt your dreams for the rest of your life. I can’t get over how perfectly done this costume is.
7. Chrissy Teigen
WELCOME TO FLAVORTOWN.
Chrissy dressed up as celebrity chef and actual human angel Guy Fieri, who is my favorite person on the planet so DO NOT @ ME with Guy Fieri hate.
Chrissy won Halloween forever with this costume.
8. Heidi Klum
Heidi Klum’s Halloween costumes are the stuff of legends, which is why I’m including her twice on this list. First up is her costume from 2017, where she just straight up became a werewolf. We love a scary costume!
9. Beyoncé and Blue Ivy
Mother/daughter costumes are so cute, and this one that Bey and Blue Ivy went with for Halloween 2014 is doubly cute. As Michael and Janet Jackson, the two stole hearts everywhere. Look at Blue’s sweet little glove!
10. Colton Haynes
Colton seems to rely exclusively on fat suits and drag to make Halloween memorable. However, there’s no denying that this Fiona is eerily close to being screen-accurate.
11. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
This might be the most perfect costume ever worn. The Rock doesn’t need to buy the padded out muscle costume like the rest of us — his Popeye is all real, down to those amazing arms. Petition for him to go as his character Maui from Moana this year.
12. Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, and their kids
May the force be with them. Neil and David dressed their adorable kids, Gideon and Harper, up as siblings Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Their parents rocked it as Han Solo and Obi-Wan Kenobi!
13. Janet Jackson
Now that’s a cat costume. Ditching the traditional cat and ears look, Janet went for the full Catwoman, complete with the pleather bodysuit and black mask. Yes, queen.
14. The witch herself
Bette Midler’s Winifred Sanderson has been a Halloween staple since Hocus Pocus was released in 1993. Since then, countless people have taken on the Winifred costume (including me!) but no one does it better than Bette, who re-donned Winifred’s wig and robes in 2016.
