Blake Lively Thought Fan Reaction To 'Rhythm Section' Transformation Was 'Very Offensive'

Blake Lively has a bone to pick with her fans.

After they mistook her movie makeup look for what she actually looks like makeup-free, she shared how she found this "very offensive."

It's been a busy week for Blake Lively! The new mom of three has been promoting her new film, "The Rhythm Section."

The movie, which also stars Jude Law, is about a woman who seeks revenge against those who were part of the mysterious plane crash that killed her family.

While speaking to "Extra" at the Monday night premiere of the film, she even revealed that she shattered her hand while filming.

"There's a kitchen fight with me and Jude and that’s the one where I shattered my hand," Blake began.

"It's a four-minute fight with just the two of us. Just two actors who are not equipped to be doing a fight scene together."

"I was lunging at Jude to punch him very aggressively with my rubber knife and he went to block it and we came in contact," Blake continued.

"It was a firework explosion of ligaments and bones and tendons and soft tissue."

Sadly, this required two surgeries to fix and even a six-month delay in production.

It also meant that Blake had to wear a bandage on her wrist for most of the film.

During her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Blake also shared what life is like now ever since she and husband Ryan Reynolds welcomed their new baby late last fall.

Blake began by sharing how their 5-year-old daughter James is adjusting well with the new baby.

Their 3-year-old daughter, Inez, however? Not so much.

She said that it's been "a bit of a tough adjustment" in their house.

"I have two other daughters, so my oldest is very into the baby but my middle child, not so much.”

“We’re thinking of keeping her,” Lively joked of her youngest.

The Gossip Girl alum explained how Inez even pretended to play with the new baby at first.

Slowly but surely, though, Inez has been warming up to the new baby.

“In the beginning, the oldest is loving on her and she’s maternal, and then our middle daughter just keeps away from her,” Lively said.

Thankfully, Blake knew just how to grow their sibling bond.

“And then I said to [Inez], ‘You know, you’re gonna get to teach her everything she knows!"

During the interview, Blake also revealed that she has a bone to pick with fans.

While speaking to Jimmy, she said that she found it "very offensive" that fans thought that her makeup-free look in the movie is what she actually looks like sans makeup.

Blake then did her best to clear things up.

"[The makeup artist] did this really rough look, because my family has experienced a lot of tragedy, and anyway, so she did this really rough look at the beginning, and then this is once I sort of clean up," she began on the show.

"But when I posted it, people were saying, ‘Wow, Blake bravely shows what she looks like before and after makeup.'"

"Some people think that's what I look like without makeup, which I find very offensive because that takes an hour for her to make me look like that," she shared.

“This also takes an hour to make me look this good."

She continued:

“I’m sort of vacillating between my vanity, which is like wanting to be like, ‘I don’t actually look like that!’"

"And then also being a feminist and being like, ‘Why do we expect women to wake up looking like this? This isn’t realistic that you wake up this beautiful!’"

She continued: "But like, I would like people to believe that I wake up looking this beautiful.”

The Rhythm Section is out in theatres now!

"You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse, anything you want.’ And she goes [to her new sister], ‘Oh, I didn’t love you, but now I do.’"

So cute!
