Lush Is Selling Koala-Shaped Soap To Help Animals Affected By Aussie Wildfires

Lush cosmetics has launched a brand new limited-edition soap product in an effort to help those animals who have been affected by the raging wildfires in Australia.

And I must say, these soaps are adorable.

Lush's "All The Wild Things" soap bar is shaped like a little koala.

This technically isn't a new soap, but rather a koala-shaped version of the company's existing Outback Mate soap, which usually comes in the shape of a blue ocean wave.

The ingredients, however, are exactly the same: eucalyptus, lemongrass, and peppermint oils. So if you're a fan of the Outback product, you'll definitely love its new koala-like face lift, so to speak.

Each bar retails for $7, with 100% of proceeds going towards supporting the Bush Animal Fund.

As Business Insider reported, this Lush-created organization is aimed at supporting animal rescue and land restoration.

"As a business that cares deeply for animals, people, and the planet, responding to the bushfires in Australia with funding support to impacted wildlife is simply the right thing to do," Tricia Stevens, Lush's Manager of Charitable Giving and Ethical Campaigns, said in a press release.

"By directing customer support from the purchase of All the Wild Things to grassroots animal rescue organizations, we will be able to have a direct impact on their lives and the environment in which they live."

The koala-shaped bars are currently on sale all around the globe.

However, if you live in North America, you'll have to go online to purchase one for yourself, as only 10,000 pieces of the limited-edition product are available.

This means that if all the soap is sold, an incredible $70,000 will be donated to the cause from the continent alone.
