Meryl Streep Fixing Helen Mirren’s Dress Proves They're Total Friendship Goals

Meryl Streep was caught fixing Helen Mirren's dress at the Golden Globes after a small wardrobe malfunction, proving that they are the epitome of friendship goals!

There are plenty of indicators that someone is a true friend.

They politely tell you when you have food stuck in your teeth before anyone else notices, they'll hold your hair back when you've had too much to drink, they're always the first ones to comment on your Instagram photos, and so on.

But most importantly, they have your back during any public wardrobe malfunctions.

And at the 2020 Golden Globes, Meryl Streep proved that she is reliable af when she fixed her pal, Helen Mirren's dress for her.

#FriendshipGoals.

The moment captured on camera and has since gone viral — no surprise there.

An iconic friendship moment shared between two Hollywood queens? Heartwarming and priceless.

Meryl and Helen weren't the only two besties flaunting their support for each other at the Golden Globes, however.

Friendship was in the air!

Take Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, for instance!

Brad walked away with a Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama, for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

He dedicated his acceptance speech to his main squeeze, Leo — solidifying their bromance once and for all.

"I also have to thank my partner in crime, LDC," he continued as the crowd laughed and applauded.

"You know, when — before 'The Revenant,' I used to watch year after year his co-stars accept awards and get up and thank him profusely."

"I know why," he said. "He's an all-star, he's a gent. I wouldn't be here without you, man. I thank you."

Even new friendships were formed! Like the one between Joaquin Phoenix and Sarah Hyland.

After realizing Joaquin was standing next to her on the red carpet, Sarah reacted the way any of us would have. She had a small freak-out and then bowed to him.

Sarah was so thrilled about her encounter with Joaquin that she shared photos from the moment on Instagram.

"My GENUINE reaction when I realized I was standing next to Joaquin Phoenix on the red carpet. I bowed. Then he bowed. It was a thing," she captioned this post.

Kerry Washington and Jennifer Aniston also showed signs of a budding friendship!

The pair ran into each other on the red carpet, in the middle of Kerry's interview with Ryan Seacrest and immediately started fan-girling.

“I love Jennifer Aniston and I love Morning Show,” Kerry said.

“I love you, you’re so beautiful,” Jen responded.

Anyway, I rest my case. Friendships were blooming like crazy at the Golden Globes, and I am hardcore obsessing over all of the celeb camaraderie.

But I must say, Meryl Streep and Helen Mirren's moment takes the cake!

Naturally, fans took to Twitter to praise Meryl and Helen for being adorable af.

They're both so iconic in their own right — my heart can hardly handle them as a duo.

This person made a really incredible suggestion that I hope Meryl and Helen take into consideration after their next award show.

I would pay good money to watch that movie.

This is the kind of support I need from all of my friends going forward.

Shout out to Meryl for raising the bar.

This is what real friendship looks like, people. Take notes.

Queens support queen!
