During An Antiques Roadshow, One Expert Accidentally Drank Old Urine

Yes, folks, it's going to be one of those stories where you get to hear about an old man drinking urine. Oh come on, you know that old chestnut.

The ones you read about every year. Seriously, how many nickels do you have at this point, after reading all these "old man drinks pee" articles?

Have you ever met one of those "wine expert" people?

The kind that tells you the wine you brought for Christmas dinner is "trite and overstated"?

Have you ever wished silently to yourself that maybe one day these people would accidentally drink something else just because they annoy you?

If you haven't, you're a better person than we are.

For the other sadists out there let's talk about this episode of Antiques Roadshow, a show that has been airing in Britain since the late '70s.

It's what you'd expect: people go around appraising and discovering antiques.

Well there was this one episode where expert Andy McConnell found this old bottle and determined it must have been from the 1840s.

He took some out of the bottle, took a swig and determined it must have been very old red wine.

But, as you can tell from the title, it was not.

IMDb

In a recent episode, host Fiona Bruce revealed to the expert that what he drank was not wine, but in fact some very, very old pee.

This was either a hilarious practical joke by our ancestors or maybe some weird guy saving his pee.
