She's kept her fans in the loop via social media throughout her entire journey so far.

The queen of comedy has posted some hilarious and very relatable pregnancy and postpartum photos on Instagram for our benefit.
Like her pregnancy announcement, for instance.
Amy first hinted at her pregnancy by superimposing her face and her husband's face on a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who also happen to be pregnant at the same time.
Or the time she called out fans for being annoyed at how long her pregnancy seemed to be taking.

"Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I’ve been pregnant for a long time? It must be getting annoying to you all that I’m still pregnant Well imagine how I feel mother [expletive]!!!!! #soblessed," she wrote on Instagram.

"A couple days I’ve cried from missing him," she continued.

And to make her even more relatable, she decided to give her son a toy from her own childhood — something plenty of parents do.
Except this was no ordinary toy ...
Back in 2016, on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", she shared a photo of her remaining toy collection from when she was a kid.

And it was straight-up terrifying.
One of the toys is obviously more horrifying than the rest, and that is the one she gifted her son.
While it's by far the creepiest thing I've ever seen, it also happens to be Amy's most cherished toy from her childhood.
Its name is "Pokey".

Full disclosure, and no offense to Amy, this toy is going to be the star of my nightmares for weeks to come.
So, fast forward to a couple of days ago. Amy posted a throwback photo of herself and Pokey when she was a girl.

But in the next slide, Pokey is photographed next to Gene.
"Pokey has been scaring children since 1948," she captioned the photo.

Yeah, no doubt.
Pokey is scaring me, a fully grown woman.
I can't even imagine the longterm repercussions this thing is going to have on a child!
