The Internet Is Totally Obsessed With Cats That Look Like Baby Yoda

The internet isn't about to slow down with the Baby Yoda stuff anytime soon. And honestly? That's O.K. with me.

Look, I can admit I've never seen a single Star Wars movie. But you can bet that the second anything Baby Yoda-related appears in my feed, it instantly catches my attention. There's just something to gosh-darn cute about that little guy. I can't get enough.

And, in case you haven't heard, the latest and greatest installment of #BabyYodaFever has to do with cats. Very Yoda-y cats, you might even say.

It all started with a Twitter post from user Bella Meza whose boyfriend said her cat, Parmesan, bore a striking resemblance to *The Mandalorian* cutie.

It's not hard to see. Hidden behind a perfectly placed brown towel and with its ears pointed right out, Parmesan could very well be Baby Yoda's doppelganger.

Of course, the hilarious picture went viral and has since inspired other users to share their own Yoda-like felines.

Here we have another furry Baby Yoda lookalike.

The flat, satellite-ears; the globe-like eyes. Yup, this is Baby Yoda alright. The only question is, what's it doing in the bathtub?

This little cutie is also hiding its Yoda-ness.

I think the key to looking like Baby Yoda is covering half your face. It seems to be doing the trick for all of these Twitter kitties.

Baby Yoda or Dobby the elf?: you decide.

Honestly, I think this cat is serving us both looks and I applaud it for crossing fandoms so effortlessly.

Also, side note: I've never seen a cat look so defeated in my life. That's the price of fame, I guess.

This particular kitty doesn't look very enthusiastic about its sci-fi lookalike, either.

They didn't choose the Baby Yoda life; the Baby Yoda life chose them. Now they just have to endure their newfound celebrity status and accept the fact that they, too, look just like the little Mandalorian character.

Oh, and if you weren't aware, there's actually a cat up for adoption who everyone believes bears a striking resemblance to Baby Yoda.

The North Carolina rescue kitty was found in Kannapolis as an injured stray and was treated for a deep neck wound, respiratory infection and intestinal parasites.

According to Good Morning America, staff at Cabarrus Animal Hospital were so stunned by this sweet kitty's likeness to Baby Yoda that they even stared a Facebook page, Baby Yoda Cat, in her honor. And her posts keep going viral.

Although she still doesn't have an official name, she's been lovingly dubbed "Yoda cat" by vets.

She remains at the vet to treat her injuries and illnesses, but staff have reported that people from all across the country have offered to make the trek to North Carolina, just to bring this adorable Yoda cat home with them.

Hopefully, she'll be able to find her furever home very soon!
