Henry Cavill Couldn't Do A 'Mission: Impossible' Stunt Because Tom Cruise Said: 'You’ll Kill Everyone'

If Tom Cruise, the guy who literally hangs off planes tells you not to do a stunt because you'll kill everyone, then there's probably a good chance that you shouldn't do that stunt.

Or else, you know, you really might actually kill everyone.

Poor Cavill just wanted to have a good time.

So we all know that Henry Cavill was in the new 'Mission Impossible', right?

Of course, that was like 2 years ago.

If you haven't heard yet, then welcome to the outside! How was living under that rock for all those years?

Anyways, so there's this one scene where his character, along with Tom Cruise, jump out of a plane.

And Henry, who loves to do his own stunts, really wanted to do the stunt with Tom Cruise (who also does his own stunts).

But Tom Said "no".

Why? Henry seems like a competent fellow! He seems like a guy who could handle something as trivial as a high altitude jump!

Well, Cavill went on the Graham Norton show to tell us why.

He said:

“I begged to do it, but Tom said, ‘We would love you to do it, but I am up there with the professionals and if I get anything even slightly wrong, they can correct it. If there are two of us up there and something goes wrong, you’ll kill everyone!’ And I was like, ‘Okay!'”

Better safe than sorry!
