Plus, let's give credit where credit is due: Henry Cavill definitely gave us one of the best depictions of Superman ever.
It seems that whenever they put out a movie, everyone is so ready to hate it without even having seen it!
Unless your name is Aquaman or Wonder Woman, you don't have a chance.
The aforementioned Wonder Woman and Aquaman were cast perfectly, Cyborg was pretty darn good too.
Batman... well, they changed that up.
But of course, Superman himself was cast perfectly. In most people's opinion.
Recently, Henry Cavill took to Men's Health to talk about the rumors that he wouldn't return as Superman.
He begins with:
“The cape is in the closet. It’s still mine.”
That's promising.
“There’s a lot I have to give for Superman yet. A lot of storytelling to do. A lot of real, true depths to the honesty of the character I wasn’t to get into. I want to reflect the comic books. That’s important to me. There’s a lot of justice to be done for Superman. The status is: You’ll see.”
