Little Brother’s Heartwarming Note To Crying Sister Goes Viral

Siblings can be incredibly annoying, however, one Twitter user was surprised by an out-of-the-blue heartwarming gesture of kindness from their younger brother, which turned their day around.

Sibling rivalries can be hard at times.

Whether they're stealing your things (or borrowing without permission), getting you into trouble, or copying you, the ways that siblings can drive you insane are endless.

However, siblings can also be just the person you need in your life.

For Twitter user AnnieeDaGrannie (pictured above), her younger brother made her day a lot brighter when she was struggling earlier this week.

Sometimes we all need a little help from our family when we are going through a tough time, and Annie's brother showed that this helping hand can even come from those siblings who you're arguing with all the time.

Annie was crying in the bathroom when her brother decided to post her a note.

Annie wrote on Twitter: "So I locked myself in the bathroom bawling my eyes out... and the next thing I know my 10-year-old brother slides these notes under the door. I don't deserve him."

Her brother's first note read, "Ani it's OK when she will come she will realize that she made you sad and she will apologize. Everything is going to be OK. If you're going to be sad thinking about it, it's only going to make you sadder. OK."

Her brother continued to send her notes.

Annie had apparently been visiting home when she locked herself in the bathroom and began to cry. Thank goodness her brother was there to offer a ray of light in the darkness.

Also, this kid has incredibly neat handwriting for a ten-year-old!

Her brother's loving offensive didn't stop there either.

When Annie had moved from the bathroom back to her bedroom, another note arrived which said, "Open the door and look down". She wrote alongside the post:

"I finally got out of the bathroom and went into my room and then he knocks on my door ... and ... WHY IS HE SO GOOD TO ME"

Inside the package was some early Christmas presents.

Inside the package was a pen, a keyring, four quarters, and a sock, all with a note saying "from Nick". Who knows why there was a single sock there, but good lord it brings tears to your eyes! Also, Nick apparently returned with the second sock ten minutes later.

The post has since gone viral.

The post has received over 44, 000 retweets, and over 300, 000 likes across Twitter! It is good that wholesome, loving material like this can still be seen on the internet through the midden of phoney influencers jostling for attention.

The post inspired swathes of positive feedback for Nicks wonderful actions.

People took to the comments to share similar stories where their own siblings had helped them out, and to praise Nick for his thoughtfullness:

"This is precious. I remember when my little brothers would try to cheer me up when I was depressed about something. This is just so wholesome, I love it"

"I would lock myself in the bathroom when I was having panic attacks or breakdowns and my little brother would make me open the door and he would sit on the floor with me and talked to me until I calmed down. Little brothers are the best"

"The fact that he gave you a dollar, a sock, and a laser light and pen really warms my heart little kids are really adorable"

Hopefully, young Nick keeps bringing joy to those around him.

Annie also uploaded a video of her brother writing, as people refused to believe that a child could write so wonderfully!

Let's hope that Annie and her brother have a wonderful holiday season looking out for one another. And remember, be kind to your siblings if they're struggling, you could really turn their day around.
