Dan Levy's 'David Rose' Says Everything Wrong With Traditional Christmas Characters

There's a chance here that this analysis of Christmas characters could ruin your Christmas, or maybe it will make it a lot better. I don't know.

I guess it really depends on whether or not you like Schitt's Creek. As in whether or not you have good taste.

Christmas has kind of been under a bit of scrutiny, recently.

Maybe scrutiny is the wrong word, but in recent years Christmas has been fading into the background in favor of the much more inclusive "holidays".

Not the worst thing in the world, but worth mentioning.

But one thing that has stayed pretty safe...

Are our Christmas icons. Men like Santa Claus, animals like Rudolph, abominations of both nature and God-like Frosty The Snowman.

The aforementioned sorta scrutinizers have stayed away from them.

Well, not anymore!

Recently, the national treasure that is Dan Levy came out with a video on Twitter.

He was playing his character from Schitt's Creek and he had some choice words for Christmas icons.

Here's the video:

And it's probably about as funny as you'd expect.

Whether you take that as a good statement or a bad statement tells me whether or not you have good taste.

A.K.A. whether or not you like Schitt's Creek.
