Justin Timberlake has not yet won back the favor of Jessica Biel's Instagram audience after his largely publicized cheating scandal with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright.
According to Insider, the pair have been together off and on for eleven years.
Biel has previously said they first met at a birthday bash back in early 2007 before they began dating and went public with their relationship a few months later.
Both stars' reps released a statement o People at the time confirming that the breakup was mutual and they remained friends.
However, just a few months after they split, the pair were spotted together and it was announced they had gotten back together again!
In 2015, they welcomed their first child, a son named Silas Randall.
In the years since, this power couple have continued to support each other and haven't been shy about posting playful/loving snaps on their respective social media accounts. In all respects, they certainly seem like the very definition of #couplegoals.
The photographs (and later video) showed an inebriated-looking Justin holding Alisha's hand and her hand resting on his thigh as they sit on the balcony of a bar.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Alisha's rep said, "There is no validity to this speculation. They are working on a project together."
Twitter exploded with people condemning Justin's actions and pointing out the irony of Justin writing an entire album about Britney Spears allegedly cheating on him before this.
Referring to the night in question as a "lapse in judgement" but emphasized that "nothing happened" between him and Alicia. Justin stated that he was sorry for putting his family in "such an embarrassing situation."
Justin left this comment on a sponsored post Jessica shared of herself working out, and he also wrote "Squad!" with a heart-eye emoji on another one of her sponsored posts.
"This is thirsty bro," wrote one commenter, while another noted that he was trying to suck up to Jessica post-cheating scandal.
"Nice try," replied one fan, while another just commented a string of pig emojis. "Damn people r really mad at u now man and for some good reasons," added another comment.
"Now go cry me a river," one commenter said, referencing Justin's iconic song about finding out he was cheated on.
Justin revealed he was back in the studio recording music when he shared this pic, captioned "Back at it."
Of course, some people couldn't resist dragging Justin in his own comment section either.
"Hope you’re writing cry me a river apology songs for being a giant douche to your gorgeous amazing wife," read another, slightly harsher comment.
For now, fans definitely seem content taking Jessica's side and fiercely defending her, while also throwing some serious shade at the former NSYNC member for his not-so-charming behavior.
Is Justin getting the response he deserves, or are fans being too harsh? Let us know what you think in the comments!
