You season 1 was such a hit on Netflix that it was almost immediately given the green light to get a sequel season.
People were so desperate for the continuation of the show, and luckily, they won't have to wait much longer for the second season.

In season one, the show follows Joe who falls in love with a kind woman named Beck.

And Joe's idea of chivalry is every other woman's worst nightmare.
He kills everyone that is a threat to Beck or their relationship in any possible way as a way to "protect" her.
By the end of season 2, Joe's "love" for Beck actually makes him kill her.

Now, while this is literally every woman's nightmare come to life, the actual show is amazing.
It's super suspenseful, intriguing, and the acting is amazing. So we are all very excited for season 2.
In season 2, Joe is clearly trying to escape his past.

“It’s hard to have a fresh start when the past is on your mind,” he says.
What he did to Beck is haunting him, and whatever Candace is doing there is clearly also bothering him.
So many unanswered questions!
