Ryan Reynolds Hilariously Roasted Blake Lively On Live Television

It's no secret that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' relationship centers around dragging, roasting, and generally trolling each other.

And let's make one thing clear, Ryan is not about to let that spark die.

And they say romance is dead!

One might even say the couple have made a hobby out of roasting each other.

They mess with each other on every social media platform they possibly can. Ryan usually takes the shots, but Blake can hit back — hard.

Like this birthday message for him.

Ah, nothing says true love like sticking your finger up your husband's nose.

"I picked a good one. Happy birthday @vancityreynolds," she captioned the post. That is a mom pun if I've ever seen one.

Someone stop this man.

Seriously, Blake couldn't even give birth without him cracking jokes at her expense.

I wonder if he did that same thing during the birth of their third daughter, or if he upped the ante and just brought a whole meal in.

The man can't write a serious caption, and for that I thank him.

"ALL I SEE IS YOU opens today!!! I was so happy to see an advanced screening of this STUNNING film by Marc Forster! Also, I married my wife online, so it was nice to finally meet her in person," he wrote.

I would destroy him for this one.

This is a paparazzi shot of Blake on set. Like any good husband, Ryan tracked a high-res version of the picture down and posted it on his Instagram account. You know, to show support for his wife.

Ryan had an eventful day on "Today."

In between interviews, he finally met the actress behind the infamous Peloton ad. Ryan immediately hired her to do a reaction ad for his gin, which is a kind of marketing genius few people have.

He was also asked about his and Blake's new daughter.

Blake gave birth to their third child — and third daughter! — in October, but they have yet to release what her name is.

When asked about it, Ryan had a classic Ryan answer ready for them.

So, how is that pronounced?

TODAY

"All of the letters in her name are silent," he said. "I want to give her something to push against in life."

Ryan, please. She has two PROFESSIONAL trolls for parents. Isn't that enough?

JK I love and am obsessed with them.

The "Today" show hosts then brought up his birthday post for her.

Both hosts said they loved this tweet that Ryan wrote in 2017, which wished Blake a happy birthday in the most Ryan was possible — by cutting her head off.

"Well trolling her is just your favorite thing," Hoda Kotb pointed out.

Given Blake and Ryan's history on social media, I'm gonna go ahead and say that's absolutely correct.

They asked what Blake's reaction was to that infamous birthday post.

TODAY

"You cut off half her face. When you pull some of these shenanigans online, when you get home, does she pull you aside and she’s like ‘Hey sweetie, that really wasn’t that funny'?"

To which Ryan said:

TODAY

"Well I’ve actually never met her. We actually only exist as a couple online."

The nice thing about Ryan is that you literally never have to wonder why he was cast to play Deadpool.

Comedy king!

"It’s manufactured by the studio system, and it’s worked out pretty well for us, really," Ryan continued.

TODAY

Why do I feel like that's something Kris Jenner would literally do?

Oh, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' marriage...that's why.

Ryan then joked: "I’m actually married to a woman named Louise in Denmark. We have four kids, and it’s been amazing."

TODAY

Best wishes to the happy couple and their small brood of Danish children!

TO BE FAIR, Blake didn't let her hubby have all the fun with that birthday post.

Have you seen her response to the tweet?

As many Canadians know, the two Canadian Ryans are totally interchangeable.

Since Blake is married to One of Us, she is an honorary Canadian and was gifted with that information. Do with that what you will.
