But it won't be the movie you know and love. First off, it'll be television, which already reads quite different.
Plus, it's only in the early stages in development.
The show is currently titled The Griswolds and will focus on the family's day to day life as they live in Chicago.
Tim Horbot is writing the script, and he worked on Community and The Middle so you know some laughs are on the way.
As the script is currently still in development, so there's no real news about it.
It's unclear whether or not Galecki would take the same role on, but we can hope that he will.
