Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack has made a career out of being an imposing presence on the field. On the gridiron, he has to be merciless and heartless.
However, off the field, his heart shines through, and he made that much clear once again with a generous donation for the holidays.
According to a Facebook post by the Fort Pierce Walmart, Mack's foundation footed the bill for all of the store's 300 layaway accounts.
"We have some wonderful news!" the post read. "If you have an active Holiday Layaway account at your local Ft. Pierce Walmart, your account has been paid off!"
Mathias Libardi said that a representative from the foundation just came into the store and asked to play "Secret Santa" for the community, CNN reported.
"We here at Walmart would like to thank the Khalil Mack Foundation for your generosity, and for making so many families happy for the holidays!" the Facebook post continued. "Everyone is truly [grateful] for everything you have done for them!"
