Fans Are Furious After Billie Eilish Made Fun Of Lady Gaga's Meat Dress

The best and worst thing about Billie Eilish is that she is definitely not afraid to tell you exactly what she's thinking. It's refreshing to see a young artist so boldly speak her mind, but it can also cause some fights.

Like when a Twitter account posted this old video of Billie and her brother talking about Lady Gaga.

They were talking about Gaga's Grammy nominations when Billie says, "I used to judge all of the girls’ dresses — that’s all I did. I barely paid attention to the music."

Her brother then asked, “Was the meat dress a Grammy’s event?”

That was when Billie dropped a one-word response that made Lady Gaga fans start trending #BillieEilishIsOver on Twitter: "Yikes."

Her brother then made fun of Lady Gaga showing up to the Grammy's in an egg.

Gaga's fans were furious that Billie would make fun of Lady Gaga. "Disappointing how she’s trying to make a statement by wearing huge tops so people don’t objectify her body but then cringes at gaga for wearing the meat dress when it was a political statement against the “don’t ask don’t tell” military policy in the US.." wrote one fan.

However, Billie's fans were quick to defend her.

It makes sense that a vegan wouldn't like a dress made of meat. "The way some ppl are dragging a 17 year old for saying this dress is ugly when she’s 10000% right is beyond me lmfaooo grow tf up," said one fan.

Variety asked Billie how SHE felt about all the backlash her comments recieved.

“I don’t even care. Why would I care?” she told the publication.

Pretty much what you'd expect from Billie!

She was clear that that is just the way she is.

“People try to frame me for being shady and I’m not even, so I don’t care. I’m just being honest, I’m not gonna lie!” she said.

Billie has not had it easy in the press lately.

When she was on Jimmy Kimmel's show recently, he asked her to "name a Van Halen" and she shocked the world by answering, "Who?"

"I'm going to start crying," Jimmy responded.

Now, Billie wasn't born until 2001, so it kind of makes sense that she wouldn't necessarily be THAT familiar with Van Halen.

Not if you asked Van Halen fans, though.

As some people pointed out, Van Halen fans aren't all that likely to know who Billie Eilish is either.

Even Eddie Van Halen's son Wolf tweeted, "If you haven’t heard of @billieeilish, go check her out. She’s cool. If you haven’t heard of @VanHalen, go check them out. They’re cool too."

"Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us. Listen to what you want and don’t shame others for not knowing what you like."

Billie didn't seem to appreciate the spotlight, because as she was accepting the Variety Hitmaker of The Year award, she seemed to throw a little bit of shade Jimmy's way.

"Thank you so much, Variety — thank you for not making me look stupid like everybody else wants to do on TV — love that."

The lesson here is do NOT mess with Billie Eilish — she's nothing if not honest, and if she has a problem with you, she's definitely going to say it.
