Apparently, it is true! The apes, will, in fact, life on. No matter how many times we put them to the test against humans, the apes will always survive.
That much is clear by the number of times they’ve decided to go back to these movies and arcs.
20th Century Fox, which is owned by Disney, is looking to develop yet another ‘Planet of the Apes’ movie.

Which, if we know anything about Disney, we know that they like revisiting old classics.
So this move makes sense.
They’ve looked to director Wes Ball to help develop the film.

If the director sounds familiar, it’s because he worked on the Maze Runner films.
Those films were action-packed, so we can expect that from any future Planet of the Apes films.
The Apes were last directed by Matt Reeves.

So we have no idea if this would be a continuation or a complete reboot of the series (which started in 1968).
We wouldn’t put it past Disney to do a full remake.
The question is: is this what the people want?

Or should Disney and 20th Century Fox be looking for a new movie to make instead of reviving this one?
