William And Kate Respond After Camila Cabello Admits To Stealing From Kensington Palace

It's safe to say that stealing anything from Kensington Palace is a giant no-no, but Camila couldn't resist, and got called out for it.

Camila recently attended a big event.

She joined the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to honor 10 amazing teens for BBC 1's Teen Heroes Awards.

The Awards honor teens 12-17 years old who make a difference in their communities.

We love to see it!

"I was so honored to be invited to Kensington Palace to meet and celebrate this year’s Teen Hero finalists with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge," she said during an interview at the event.

It's safe to say she was thrilled to be there.

"Hearing the incredible things these Teen Heroes have done is so inspirational! Their passion and dedication to help others is amazing and they really blew me away!"

But then, Camila totally ratted herself out during another interview.

She appeared on BBC Radio 1's "Breakfast with Greg James," where she and James were reunited after meeting each other at Teen Heroes.

These two are a palace full of trouble together.

"Don’t tell anybody what my mother and I did," she said to Greg, who promptly did exactly that.

BBC

"We’re in Kensington Palace for the Teen Heroes," he began, totally ignoring her.

"We’re about to meet William and Kate, and I said, 'You’ve got to steal something. Steal something!'" he continued.

BBC

"And I said, ‘Steal that pencil.'"

Camila jumped, explaining further.

"I was like, 'You triple doggy dare me?' … And you can’t not do a triple doggy dare. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my life, it’s that. So, I did it."

I mean, as far as thefts go, a pencil is pretty minor.

Eeeeeek!

Apparently, Camila's mom was NOT impressed.

"I was like, 'Oh, my God.' And I put it in my mom’s purse, and my mom was like, 'No, we have to give it back. We have to give back the pencil.'"

Camila wasn't about to back down.

"And I was like, ‘No, he triple doggy dared me. I have to take the pencil,'" she said.

As I'm sure we all know, a triple-dog-dare is legally binding, and cannot be broken. Even by a mom.

It's called the law, sweetie. Look it up.

"So, I still have it. I’m sorry, William, and I’m sorry, Kate," she confessed.

"I honestly couldn’t sleep last night. I had to get it off my chest."

With a confession like that, there was no way the Royal couple weren't going to find out.

In the days that followed, it was clear the couple had access to their Kensington Palace social media account because what happened next was WILD.

LOOK AT THAT SIDE EYE EMOJI REPLY.

So much of the Royal Family's social media is proper and formal. But the eyes emoji? That's for us regular folk.

Greg knew they were in trouble.

He's referencing a comment he made a few months back. After seeing a picture of Princess Charlotte shaking her teacher's hand, he said:

"Who the hell shakes hands with their teacher on the first day?"

The palace asked to talk with him after that. OOP.

Her stans had some thoughts.

This actually made me laugh out loud.

Please, William and Kate, your Royal Highnesses, don't jail her before "Romance" drops on December 6th, 2019 on all streaming platforms. Save her!

Some people had theories.

Since Greg set her up for it, people figure he should take the fall. Sorry, the royal fall.

I guess we know what present he'll be getting this holiday season.

You can listen to the whole conversation here.

That includes all of their quality banter, and Camila's super dramatic reenactment of the deal.

If these two somehow go missing, we'll all know exactly who was responsible.

Princess Charlotte, of course.
