Leonardo DiCaprio's 22-year-old girlfriend, Camila Morrone, opened up in an interview with Vulture about addressing the trolls that think she's too young for Leo in an Instagram live video.
And apparently things have gotten quite serious between them.
But naturally, while they seem to be happy together, fans have taken an issue with their age difference.
Even though, by now, we should all be accustomed to seeing older men date younger women in Hollywood — it's extremely common.
“Camila is long known as Leo’s girlfriend," the source added. "And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago."
She shared an Instagram live video addressing some of the negative comments fans were leaving for her, like this one.
"And like, full of anger for people they know nothing about."
"And place their time and interest elsewhere because living without hatred feels pretty good," she concluded.
"I didn’t even think about it beforehand. I probably should have," she joked.
"I just woke up one morning and happened to look through my comments, which I never do because I never feel good after I do," she explained.
"There’s so much hate on the internet and it’s so unnecessary. I know it won’t change anything."
"I felt like being like, 'You guys suck! This sucks. You guys are really mean.'"
"I probably won’t address it again," she said.
She explained that she chooses to ignore the haters in an effort to protect her own feelings from getting hurt.
Wise words, Camila. Wise words.
No sense in giving trolls the satisfaction of participating, amirite?
Should their 23-year age difference be a dealbreaker?
Or is age just a number?
