In an interview on Dax Shepard's podcast, Armchair Expert, Emilia Clarke praised Jason Momoa for being "wonderful" and taking "care of" her during the nude scenes that she felt pressured into doing by the directors of Game of Thrones.

If you've ever seen "Game of Thrones" then you probably already know that they absolutely lived for filming nude scenes.

It was honestly overkill at times.

Any excuse to film a nude scene and they'd do it.

One person in particular partook in quite a few nude scenes; Emilia Clarke.

And while you may have enjoyed them, she, on the other hand, did not.

She recently revealed in an interview on Dax Shepard's podcast, "Armchair Expert" that she was pressured to do nude scenes in an effort to not let "Game of Thrones fans" down.

But thankfully, her beloved co-star, Jason Momoa, was there to put her mind at ease.

She began by recalling the overwhelming number of nude scenes she had to do in the first season.

Time

"Season 1 was what it was — it was a [expletive] ton of nudity," she described.

“I took the job and then they sent me the scripts and I was reading them, and I was, like, ‘Oh, there’s the catch!’”

“But I’d come fresh from drama school, and I approached [it] as a job," she explained. "If it’s in the script then it’s clearly needed, this is what this is and I’m gonna make sense of it… Everything’s gonna be cool."

“So I came to terms with that beforehand".

"But then going in and doing it… I’m floating through this first season and I have no idea what I’m doing, I have no idea what any of this is."

"I’ve never been on a film set like this before, I’d been on a film set twice before then," she recalled.

"And I’m now on a film set completely naked with all of these people, and I don’t know what I’m meant to do".

"I don’t know what’s expected of me, and I don’t know what you want and I don’t know what I want."

“Regardless of there being nudity or not, I would have spent that first season thinking I’m not worthy of requiring anything," she went on.

"I've had fights on set before where I'm like, 'No, the sheet stays up,' and they're like, 'No, you don't wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans.' And I'm like, '[Expletive] you.'"

She admitted that she would cry in the bathroom before filming certain nude scenes...

"I’m gonna cry in the bathroom and then I’m gonna come back and we’re gonna do the scene and it’s gonna be completely fine.”

She revealed that it was actually Jason Momoa that helped her get through filming the scenes she was uncomfortable with.

"It was definitely hard, which is why the scenes, when I got to do them with Jason were wonderful," she said.

"Because he was like, 'No, sweetie, this is not okay' and I was like, 'Oh.'"

"He took care of me, he really did. In an environment where I didn't know I needed to be taken care of," she continued.

"It's only now that I realize how fortunate I was with that, because that could have gone many, many, many different ways."

"Because Jason had experience, he had done a bunch of stuff before coming on to this."

"He was like, 'Sweetie, this is how it's meant to be and this is how it's not meant to be, and I'm going to make sure that's the way it goes.'"

"He was so kind and considerate, and cared about me as a human being."

Evidently, Jason Momoa is as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside!

She added that because of Jason, she was able to confidently master doing nude scenes.

"When I did the last nudity that I did for the show, I was like, 'I am owning this. This is mine. They've asked me to do it, and I'm [expletive] game.'"
