Aaron Carter 'Devastated' By Court Ruling To Remove His Firearms

It's been a long year for Aaron Carter. The former child star and current musician has been very open about his struggles with addiction, mental health, and inter-family issues over the past year, and the latest step is not one that he's happy about.

In September, Aaron's brother and Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter tweeted that he and his sister had filed a restraining order against Aaron.

"After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today," Nick said along side the hashtags "#GunControl" and "#mentalhealth."

"In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice..."

"...but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else," Nick's statement finished.

Aaron responded on Twitter, claiming Nick and his sister were attempting to take away his firearms.

Aaron claimed that Nick was retaliating against Aaron for speaking to Melissa Schuman, who has accused Nick of assault in the past.

This issue has now been brought to court, with Aaron revealing he had lost his court case against his sister, Angel.

Aaron took to his Instagram story to discuss the court case.

"I am devastated by what happened in court today," he wrote. "My sister lied over and over in an effort to take away my 2nd Amendment rights."

"And she did it on behalf of my brother to silence me."

"I will abide by the judge's order, but I will not stop speaking on behalf of victims such as Melissa Schuman. I am saddened by my family and what they have done to me."

"Your lies have broken my heart."

However, Aaron's Instagram post with Melissa after the fact told a much happier story. "Yes!!! No more fake Halo’s for a year. #NoAngelo TRO IN PLACE FOR 1 more year!!" he wrote alongside this shot of him and Melissa sharing a high five.
