Plus-Size Blogger Shares 'Brutal' Comments She Received After Dressing Like Meghan Markle

It can be a brutal world out there.

After plus-size blogger Katie Sturino recreated some of Meghan Markle's most iconic looks, she endured some truly brutal comments.

But she's not taking the hits lying down. The model just served up a clapback to the haters that will never go out of style.

Katie Sturino is a fashion blogger who's best known for recreating celeb looks for her size on Instagram.

The body positivity series, called "Supersize My Look", does some serious good by encouraging women to embrace their bodies, no matter what size they are.

Like the time she dressed as "The Big Bang Theory" alum, Kaley Cuoco.

Even though she's recreating celeb looks, Katie makes it clear that it's not about "who wore it best."

Her goal is to inspire others to wear what makes them happy.

She'll even recreate the looks of supermodels, such as Kendall Jenner.

There have been a few occasions where she's tried on Kendall's wardrobe for size.

Through each post, she's helping women embrace their bodies by proving that you don't need to be a size 2 to pull off certain outfits.

For instance, this classic jeans and black shirt combo, inspired by Katie Holmes, can look beautiful on anyone of any size!

To keep this body love momentum going, she even partnered with "People" to recreate some of Meghan Markle's most iconic looks.

Soon after, the images went viral.

But not for the best reasons...

Katie soon found herself on the receiving end of brutal comments from people criticizing her size.

She ended up sharing some of these mean comments in an Instagram post.

"FFS, every time I think we have made so much progress about our bodies and the way we talk about women, something pops up to remind me our work is not done!!!" she began.

"My #SuperSizeTheLook shots with Meghan Markle got picked up and the comments are brutal..."

While she admitted that the comments were scary, they do not hurt her feelings.

"It’s scary that a woman who is almost the average size in this country would be regarded with such shock!"

"Also, they don’t stop at my body, they are equal opportunity women haters who take shots at MM as well!"

"Can’t be thin. Can’t be fat."

Some of the terrible comments compared her to a Prius and a school bus.

Another wrote: "body positivity is a lot easier when you don't look like a cow."

Others blasted her for "promoting unhealthy bodies."

"Sorry but accepting your body that is completely unhealthy is on no way positive," someone wrote on one of her Instagram posts of her recreating a Markle outfit.

Sturino made it clear that the haters need to "STFU ABOUT WOMENS BODIES!!!!!"

She then encouraged people to keep spreading positivity.

"Please keep shining bright. Please don’t engage with the crazies in the comments. PLEASE DO LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR AND TELL HER THAT YOU LOVE HER!!!!!! ( I just did)."

She finished her Instagram post with a strong message that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops.

"There is a war on women’s bodies in the media and beyond and we are making headway but this [expletive] reminds me to stay bright and keep going."

"Nobody deserves to be spoken to like this, on or offline," she declared.

Then she served another important reminder of the strides the world still has to make in being kind and accepting to one another.

Preach, girl!

BTW, Meghan isn't the only royal whose look she's recreated.

She's also recreated the fashion looks of Kate Middleton and the late Princess Diana, and looked great doing it.
