Festive Grinch-Inspired Trees Look Exactly Like The Grinch's Fuzzy Green Fingers

It's time to start decorating for the holidays! Many of us will begin the process of taking out dusty boxes of nostalgic and maybe more modern Christmas decorations from the crawlspace or attic, reliving memories while sprinkling them all over the house.

While there's nothing wrong with that, sometimes you need some living, breathing greenery to liven up the space.

Move over poinsettia! There's a fresh Christmas plant in town.

That's right. These Grinch-inspired tree plants just stole Christmas from them.

While no droopy tree exists in any of 'The Grinch' movies, I believe the tiny tree plant is meant to look like the Grinch's furry green hand holding an ornament.

They're made using any sort of cypress tree, but most places use lemon cypress trees.

Many floral and plant shops sell these plants, but you can also make them yourself!

To make, you simply pot a cypress tree, delicately wrap some wire around it, and hand an ornament from the end to make it look like it's drooping.

Lots of people on Instagram have showed a number of unique Grinch trees, so have fun with it!

Don't be a Grinch this holiday season — gift one to your dinner party host as a thank you!
