One Tree Hill and country music star, Jana Kramer, has recently gotten quite candid about her husband, Mike Caussin's sex addiction — calling it an "open wound" in an interview with Access.
Jana and her husband, former NFL player, Mike Caussin, got engaged back in 2014 and said "I do" in 2015. But since then, there have been a few major hiccups in their relationship...
A source revealed to Us Weekly that Mike had cheated on Jana with "multiple women" and was seeking treatment for sex addiction.
While things seemed to be looking up for a while, Mike, unfortunately, suffered a "massive" sex addiction relapse in March.
“I’m not minimizing cheating because we have other things in Jan and [my] discussion of boundaries that’s cheating."
"I just want people to be clear that there wasn’t any other affair since that moment.”
“Yes, it wasn’t physical out of the marriage, but it was something where the action was basically … We’re just basically happy that someone didn’t show up. … I showed up at the hotel instead, if you really want to know," she said.
"I used sex as my outlet."
Neither Mike or Jana have disclosed the exact number of women he has cheated with.
"The thing is, whether it’s once or a thousand, it doesn’t matter. I still committed those acts, I still caused pain and a rift in our relationship and hurt the woman that I loved, the damage has already been done."
"I trust him today. I can’t think about yesterday, the day before, the past, but today, he’s showing up, he’s a great dad today and I trust him."
Mike had received a photo of a topless woman via text message.
"I am such a [expletive] idiot … Like, how is this happening again?”
"Why is this happening again?," she asked.
They confessed that they had perhaps revealed too much too soon.
"It was the world against Mike and me," Jana said. "It was really tough. I had a lot of anxiety around it."
