When you think of Kim Kardashian, it's pretty likely that sex appeal comes to your mind pretty quickly. She's built more than a few brands off that sex appeal and loves pushing the limits of what she can get away with.
That's why so many people were shocked after she said she wants to start toning down the sexiness.
“A corset is like a form of underwear. It’s hot. It’s like, it’s hot for who, though?” Kanye asked his wife on the show, who at the time got angry with him in response.
Kanye continued, saying, "I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved, and the father of now, what — about to be four kids?”
“You’re giving me really bad anxiety. You knew last night I had really bad anxiety and I don’t need any more negative energy and for you say you’re now not into me wearing a tight dress," Kim continued.
I can totally get Kim's frustration with Kanye given that the dress was months in the making and he only voiced his complaint the day before the Gala!
In a recent interview Kim discussed the issue. "He is my husband so I obviously want to honor him and what he’s feeling and he’s been going through this life change."
"We were having this conversation of just, what is too much? And I am a mother of 4 and I am going to be 40 next year. When is it time to stop?”
Kim said in an interview, "Well the dress initially since I was wet coming out of the water, there were nipples attached to it. I think with editing I don’t know, I’m not sure if we actually put that part into that fight [on the show]."
Eventually, when it came to the final look for the Gala, Kim listened to what Kanye had to say and removed the fake nipples from the dress.
"I could tone it down a little bit. I totally compromise,” she said.
