Emilia Clarke Actually 'Bent The Knee' To Prince William

My goodness, the Mother of Dragons bending her knee to someone?

Who could possibly have a reputation and a power so great it makes the Great Khaleesi herself bend the knee?

Despite the last season not being all that great, we can all agree on one thing.

The performances, up until a point, were awesome.

Especially Emilia Clarke's, who played The Mother Of Dragons, The Great Khaleesi, The Mad Queen, the rightful heir to the Iron Throne:

Daenerys Targaryen.

She would never bend the knee to anyone... at least in the show.

But let's back up.

Recently, she did an interview with Vanity Fair where she was hooked up to a lie detector.

As you can probably assume, they asked her questions and she answered. The lie detector determined whether or not she was telling the truth.

And when she was asked if she's ever bent the knee in real life...

She said yes.

In her defense, it was to an actual royal, Prince William.

“You have to do the whole thing, you can’t turn your back, you have to curtsy, you have to say — he has his title, his Royal Highness, or something along those lines,” she said. “I struggled with that. But I should’ve. I don’t think he’s ever watched my show.”

And check it out if you want to see the Mother Of Dragons herself betray the very thing that made us love her so much.

Or, you could just watch season 8 of Game Of Thrones.
