'Haunting Of Hill House' Season 2 Will Have Scary Connections To Season 1

Even though the two of them are going to be separate in identity, the two universes will still, apparently, have some references to one and other.

Or at least Season 2 will reference Season 1.

'The Haunting Of Hill House' was a powerhouse of a show.

It seemingly came out of nowhere, and it basically took over all of our lives.

It managed to captivate a Netflix watching audience.

And now, it's getting a second season.

However, it's going to be the American Horror Story deal: same cast, but a completely different story.

But those of you who are such big fans of season 1 and you have trouble letting go, put your mind at ease.

Because according to creator Mike Flanagan, there will be some references to Season 1.

The director of Doctor Sleep said that:

"There's not a narrative connection, but there are little Easter eggs, for sure, not only in small details but in moments of dialogue and in some of the ideas from Hill House."

The Second Season, called 'The Haunting of Bly Manor' will also have "a ton of wonderful surprises".

He finishes the interview with:

"There's a ton of wonderful surprises to this season that come from some of his [the author, Henry James'] ghost stories that have never been adapted. But they all thematically fit together really nicely,"
