Couple Shamed for Ordering Takeout for Their Kids During Dinner With Friends

A couple has been shamed by their friends for ordering takeout food for their kids during a dinner out. The couple explains that they always get separate checks and have been doing this for the last five years without issue. However, a new couple joined their group and found it rude and trashy. The next day, the couple received a text from their friends saying that the new couple did not enjoy going out with them and that they were embarrassed.

The friends asked that they not order takeout anymore if this other couple was going to be dining with them. The couple feels that it was rude to ask them to change their behavior, especially since they had always done it without issue.
