Hilary Swank, 48, And Husband Welcome Twins!

Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, welcomed their first two children, a baby girl and a newborn boy.

On Instagram, she posted a photo of herself from behind, with the infants' heads visible as she carried them in her arms while watching the sunset over the ocean.

Swank captioned the Instagram post with two angel emojis, "It wasn't easy. But boy (and girl!), was it worth it, Happy Easter! 🐣🐣 Posting from pure Heaven. 🙌🏽"

Swank kept the babies' faces hidden from the camera and didn't reveal any other details, including when they were born, according to Entertainment Tonight.

During an interview on Good Morning America on October 2022, the Alaska Daily actress revealed she was expecting twins.

The 48-year-old actor revealed at the time that being a mother was a dream come true for her. She said, "This is something that I've been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I'm going to be a mom — and not just of one, but of two."

Swank also appeared on Live With Kelly and Ryan on the same day, revealing that twins run in both her and Schneider's families.

"It's double excitement," she explained. "My grandmother was a twin, and my husband's grandmother was a twin, so we have twins in our lineage."

Many celebrities said congratulations on her post. Najwa Zebian commented, "Aaaaahhhh!!!!! Congratulations."

"I can’t stop staring at this beauty ♥️♥️," Mariska Hargitay added.

Clara Guard wrote, "Congratulations and welcome little million dollar babies!! 🐣❤️."

Fans also commented and congratulated the new mom. One fan wrote, "Congrats to you and hubby. God bless them. I also have boy/girl Twins they’re going to be 5 in May what a beautiful double Joy you’re both in for all worth it. Blessings ❤️❤️."

Another fan said, "Congratulations!!! Love this post! Soak up every min! It truly flies by. I heard that all the time. It made me mad that folks said it so much. Now mine is 24 and 26, and I'd give anything to go back. It does go too fast."

"So happy and thrilled for you!" a third said. "You're gonna be an awesome mum!"

Following the announcement, she shared many Instagram photos of her growing baby belly throughout Halloween and Christmas to keep followers updated on her progress.

Before giving birth, she joked with followers on social media by asking if she should give birth while singing Salt-N-Pepa's "Push It."

Hilary told Extra last year that she waited until her late 40s to have children because "I was having a career and not having the right relationship until... four years ago, and all the elements needed to come together and be right."

She said, "It’s just something I thought about even as a young girl. It’s something that was on my mind, so it’s nice to be here and just be pregnant."

In 2018, Swank married Philip Schneider. The duo met on a blind date set up by Misha Collins' wife.

Swank and Schneider had so much fun together that their first date lasted over 12 hours, according to Collins' wife, Victoria Vantoch.

However, Swank, an Oscar-winning actor, and her businessman husband Schneider maintain a low profile by avoiding the press and disclosing as little personal information as possible.
