Young Woman Walks Out of D&D Game After Being Harassed by Male Players

A young woman's excitement to join an IRL D&D game quickly turned into a nightmare after being continuously harassed and objectified by male players. Despite being the only female player, she was met with skepticism and belittlement from the start. Throughout the game, her character was flirted with and harassed by the other player's characters, and her choices were ignored or questioned. The situation escalated when one of the players asked for her character's bra size, causing her to finally walk out.

Although the group blamed her for ruining the game, she has since blocked most of them due to their insulting messages. While she wonders if she should have tried to resolve the issue differently, she ultimately did what was best for her. Sadly, this is not an uncommon experience for women in gaming, and it highlights the larger issue of misogyny and harassment in the gaming community.
