Shock Over Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Leaving Children Out of Money Plans

Kutcher and Kunis went on the record to say they won't leave any of their fortunes to their children but will donate it to charity after they are gone.

Together, the couple is worth about $275 Million, along with several assets, such as their sustainable farm in L.A. still, they are very sure they won't put up a trust for any of their children, Wyatt and Dimitri.

Most of Kutcher's fortune came from his lead roles in shows like That 70s Show and the last seasons of Two And A Half Men; however, he made several early investments that increased his net worth in Spotify, Shazam, Uber, and more.

Meanwhile, Mila's net worth comes from her several roles in cinema, like Black Swam, along with her lead role as Jackie in That 70s Show, and the voice of Meg in Family Guy.

This isn't the first time the couple has caught a lot of attention because of how they raise the children regarding money. In 2018, Ashton told Dax Shepard, "I’m not setting up a trust for them."

While some people might disagree, they believe their children are growing up with so much privilege they aren't even aware of. So they want to teach them the value of money and hard work rather than setting their lives on a silver plate.

Kutcher said that it is most probable that they never realize the amount of privilege they are surrounded with unless they expose them to the real world. They are raising them not to be entitled or spoiled.

When Mila contributed to the conversation, she added, "yeah, we’re not gonna raise a******s. There are enough a**holes in this world! We don’t need to contribute."

Yet, there are willing to show support for their kids' future. Kutcher added that if they happened to have an excellent idea for a good business, they wouldn't have a problem investing in it or financially supporting it.

He finished by saying, "If my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I’ll invest in it. But they’re not getting trusts."

Though these statements were made back in 2018 when the actors went to the Arm Chair podcast, the interview resurfaced after a tweet about the matter went viral again.

People online had very strong opinions about their parenthood choices. While some thought it was a great idea, others highly criticized their decision saying it was unfair to their children.

A user on Twitter shared, "Their kids will likely be grown when they both are passed, at that point they will have already learned, from the environment their parents created, how to create wealth."

Others thought Kutcher and Kunis were using charities as a financial strategy, something that is believed to be used by various celebrities to avoid or save taxes.

Of course, the situation brought nepotism to the table. Over the last few years, several celebrities have been criticized because they haven't faced the hard work regular people struggle with daily, because their parents were part of show business.

The concept of "nepo babies" became more popular after Vulture made an issue on the topic at the end of 2022, which included big names such as Lilly Collins, Iris Apatow, Dakota Johnson, and more. Some fans believe Ashton and Mila prefer their children not to be related to this concept in their future as adults.

Oddly enough, the couple's parenthood style has been criticized other times in the past for other things. In 2021, they went viral because they shared their particular bathing and showering habits, which resulted in being very controversial.

Both Kunis and Kutcher said they don't use soap every day, or even with their children. Mila confessed that she doesn't shower much, and they don't wash the kids unless they "see dirt on them."

Despite being one of the most beloved and stable couples in Hollywood since they married in 2015, Mila and Ashton tend to make people online question their behavior sometimes.
