JK Rowling Slams Mob-Mentality After Trans Critic Is Doused With Tomato Juice

Is it wrong to say that things finally got juicy? Well, anti-trans campaigner, Kellie Jay Keen Minshull was covered in tomato juice thrown by trans rights activists in New Zealand. 

JK Rowling is a British author and philanthropist. She wrote the Harry Potter seven-part series and is a very vocal anti-trans activist.

JK Rowling, the 57-year-old author of the Harry Potter book series, slams the activists for attacking Kellie. However, the author herself preaches similar views to Kellie's and rushed to her defense online.

Kellie Jay Keen Minshull, also known as Posie Parker, was in Australia for her “Let women speak” tour. The public speaking event occurred on 25th March, when the attack happened. 

As Kellie stood up to speak her thoughts, a protestor rushed forward and threw the red liquid all over her. Kellie was covered in tomato juice from head to toe.

Trans activists are furious at her anti-trans views and expressed their rage at the event. Kellie was immediately escorted out of there by security.

Parker, 48, was rushed by the police force to a police car. Meanwhile, the culprit fled the scene and was nowhere to be found. 

Rowling condemned the attacks and called them "repellent" in her tweets. She expressed her disgust over the incident on her social media.

JK Rowling is one of the many anti-trans celebrities and has faced backlash for her views. Even the OG stars of the Harry Potter franchise have expressed their dismay over her opinions. 

“There are multiple videos of Kellie Jay being assaulted. Women have become used to lies, threats of violence, and outright denial of reality, but if you imagine anyone feels ‘defeated,’ think again,” tweeted Rowling.

Completely refusing to acknowledge the trans community, Rowling continued, “Your men’s rights activists showed the world exactly who they are.”

Parker tweeted that she was upset over not being able to speak. Since the tour is about letting women talk and her voice is being silenced, she is unhappy.

“The bravery of the New Zealand women and men who came to speak the truth shall not be forgotten,” Parker tweeted. “I was honoured to be amongst you. I’m so sorry”.

JK Rowling later tweeted a picture from The Lesbian Project about pro-trans activists “chanting” and “shouting.” The tweet implied that “lesbians are meeting without men present.” 

“After the repellent scenes from New Zealand, in which a mob assaulted women speaking up for their rights, #TheLesbianProject is being intimidated and threatened in the UK right now,” the author wrote.

Parker responded to the protest on YouTube after she was whisked away by the police. She shared her thoughts and reaction to the situation.

“I thought they were going to crush us to death,” said the controversial speaker in the video. “I genuinely have never felt so unsafe in my life.”

Parker’s stop in Wellington was canceled after the incident. Her organization, Speak Up For Women, said she faces “credible threats to life” on this tour. 

The controversial figure now claims that her life was severely threatened at the event. As a result, her tour of Australia has now been cut short.
