Brie Larson Confirms Breakup With Elijah Allan-Blitz

Brie Larson revealed her new single status on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's April Reinvention issue, appearing topless under a black tweed jacket and matching slacks.

The 33-year-old Room star made an unexpected disclosure regarding her love life and planned schedule, which she claims is "completely open" while considering her future goals and desire to have children.

After the end of her six-year engagement to Phantom Planet lead singer, Alex Greenwald, she recently ended her romance with Elijah Allan-Blitz.

She told readers, "I don't have a next job. I don't have a home. I don't have a partner. I don't have a plan."

She eventually wants to be a mother, but she doesn't know "how that happens, when that happens, in what capacity."

The cool girl said she loves "this period of adventure," which involves travelling worldwide and visiting art galleries.

The couple initially ignited dating rumors in July 2019, six months after Larson called off her engagement. Even though none of them officially approved of their relationship at the time, she and Allan-Blitz eventually walked the red carpet together at the 2020 Academy Awards.

Larson avoided discussing the reason for her breakup with Allan-Blitz.

In her interview with Harper's Bazaar, she explained how her perspective on the future changed as she approached her thirties.

Larson shared, "I had all the same normal fears as everybody else about being single and being 30, What do I want? How does a family and a future fit in with my weird life?"

She also expressed doubts such as, "Am I allowed to exist?" during the COVID-19 epidemic. "Am I allowed to just be lovable as I am? Am I worthy of just being here?"

After winning an Academy Oscar in 2016 for her strong performance in the drama Room, about a mother kept hostage for seven years with her small son, Larson justified her pivot to action films.

This is the first time Larson had publicly declared that she is no longer dating Allan-Blitz, following suspicions that they split up last month when she appeared to spend Valentine's Day alone on her couch in pajamas.

Instead of a lovely homage to her lover, she honored the day with a slideshow of herself and buddies Miho Suzuki, Alia Penner, and Laurel Kelly, captioned: "Happy Galentine's Day to my besties."

Brie and Elijah began dating in 2019 and later worked on a virtual reality-based project, The Messy Truth VR Experience, which garnered them a Primetime Emmy Award.

The former couple was last seen together in September 2022.

Previous to her relationships with the filmmaker and Greenwald, The Kong: Skull Island actress dated actors Cody Linley and John Patrick Amedori before settling down with her ex-partner.

The couple collaborated professionally on their short film Remembering shortly before their breakup.

According to the duo, during the D23 expo that happened in September, they described their motivation to Collider and said, "It was the pandemic, and we were needing to be creative. We had been watching movies from our childhood and digging into all of these things. One day, Elijah went into the office, and I feel like it was within 20 minutes, but maybe it was an hour, he had this whole concept."
